Baton

This 8-hour BSIS Course will teach the fundamentals of Baton handling.

Description

A Baton Permit may only be issued by BSIS to qualified licensees who successfully complete the required baton training course and who possess a valid and current BSIS license. A Baton Permit is only valid when the individual holds a valid and current license. Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 7584.5, a Baton Permit is subject to renewal two years from the date of issuance.

 

A Baton Permit may only be associated with the following license types:

  • Security Guard
  • Private Patrol Operator
  • Private Patrol Operator Qualified Manager
